L’italiano a portata di mano offers courses of Italian for foreigners in Milan for every level and of different length: learn more about the semester Italian language course for beginners.
Who is it for?
This course is aimed at students who, like you, have just arrived in Milan and who know little or nothing about the Italian language and culture.
The goal
The aim of this course is to enable you to easily carry out the main activities of everyday life, such as grocery shopping, asking for directions and information, buying tickets, making reservations, and solving practical issues.
We will obviously go through this journey together: we will go together to the market, we will go to the post office to learn how to send a package or how to buy a pre-paid card; we will go to the pharmacy and to the supermarket, we will talk with people and with Italians, so that you can come into direct contact with locals, interact with them and get to know the neighborhood.
Because this is my point of view: I believe language is really an extraordinary tool only when we use it. And that’s it: when we use the language we can speak and communicate with others, socialize, express our thoughts and ideas, and actively participate in everything that takes place around us.
Thus, the language becomes the passe-partout that opens the doors of the (new, for you!) world around us, even for a short period of our life.
How will the journey take place?
It will be an experiential course, divided between lessons outside and in co-working areas.
The lessons outside are mainly helpful to immediately put into practice what you have learned in the classroom, and they make us a beacon in the teaching for foreigners in Milan.
This course lasts 6 months and it’s divided in two quarters. If you want to finish your course after 3 months, you’ll get a Certificate of participation and you can take the exam for the CILS certification A1 according to the dates made available by the University for foreigners of Siena.
Otherwise, if you want to go on for the second quarter, i.e. attend the complete semester course, you can reach the A2 competence level: you’ll get a Certificate of participation and
you can take the exam for the CILS certification A2 according to the dates made available by the University for foreigners of Siena.
And once is it over?
At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of participation and, if you want, you can take the exam for the CILS certification, according to the dates made available by the University for foreigners of Siena.
And last but not least, there is a great opportunity for you who have attended the course: the school does not leave you when the course is over, but it offers you an online space dedicated to your questions, doubts or language needs, for free!
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn while having fun!
